Day 1: Arrival in Dharamshala – McLeod Ganj
Arrive in Dharamshala and transfer to your hotel in Dharamshala or McLeod Ganj. After check-in and relaxation, explore the local surroundings, Tibetan market and nearby cafés. Enjoy beautiful views of the Dhauladhar ranges in the evening. Overnight stay in Dharamshala/McLeod Ganj.
Day 2: Dharamshala & McLeod Ganj Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore the major attractions around Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj. Visit the Dalai Lama Temple Complex, Bhagsunag Temple, Bhagsu Waterfall, St. John in the Wilderness Church, Dal Lake and Naddi View Point. Later, return to the hotel and prepare for the next day’s trek. Overnight stay in Dharamshala/McLeod Ganj.
Day 3: McLeod Ganj – Triund Trek
After an early breakfast, proceed towards the starting point of the Triund Trek. Begin your climb through scenic forest trails surrounded by oak and rhododendron trees. As you gain altitude, enjoy impressive views of the Kangra Valley and Dhauladhar mountains. Reach Triund, relax amid the spectacular surroundings and enjoy the mountain sunset. Overnight stay in tents/camp at Triund, subject to local permissions and weather conditions.
Day 4: Triund – McLeod Ganj
Wake up to beautiful Himalayan views and enjoy breakfast in the mountains. Spend some time exploring the surroundings before beginning your descent towards McLeod Ganj. On arrival, transfer to the hotel and relax. The evening is free for shopping, cafés or leisure. Overnight stay in Dharamshala/McLeod Ganj.
Day 5: Dharamshala – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Depending on your departure schedule, enjoy some free time for last-minute sightseeing or shopping. Later, proceed towards your onward destination with memorable experiences of Dharamshala, McLeod Ganj and the Triund Trek.
