Day 01: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu
Arrive at Paro International Airport and meet your representative for a scenic transfer to Thimphu. Check in at the hotel and enjoy the evening exploring the local market and nearby surroundings. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 02: Thimphu Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore Bhutan’s capital with visits to Buddha Dordenma, Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong and traditional handicraft centres. Discover the city’s unique blend of Bhutanese culture, architecture and peaceful lifestyle. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 03: Thimphu – Dochula Pass – Punakha
Proceed to Punakha via the beautiful Dochula Pass, known for its 108 chortens and panoramic Himalayan scenery. Continue to Punakha and visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, situated between the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Overnight stay in Punakha.
Day 04: Punakha – Paro
After breakfast, spend some time discovering Punakha’s scenic surroundings before driving to Paro. On arrival, check in at the hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening exploring Paro town and its local market. Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 05: Paro – Tiger’s Nest Monastery Excursion
Begin the day with an exciting hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang), dramatically perched on a cliff overlooking Paro Valley. After the excursion, return to Paro and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 06: Departure from Paro
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward flight, concluding your memorable journey through Thimphu, Punakha and Paro.
