Day 1: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization
Arrive at Leh Airport and transfer to your hotel. Keep the first day completely relaxed so your body can adjust to Ladakh’s high altitude. Rest, stay hydrated and avoid strenuous activities. If you feel comfortable by evening, take a gentle walk around Leh Market. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2: Leh Local & Indus Valley Sightseeing
After breakfast, begin exploring the cultural side of Ladakh. Visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace, followed by selected attractions along the Indus Valley such as monasteries and scenic viewpoints. Later, return to Leh and spend some time exploring the colourful local market. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 3: Leh – Khardung La – Nubra Valley
After breakfast, drive towards Nubra Valley via the spectacular Khardung La Pass. Stop briefly to admire the dramatic high-altitude landscape before continuing to Diskit Monastery and Hunder. Explore the famous sand dunes and enjoy an optional double-humped Bactrian camel ride at your own cost. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 4: Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake
Leave Nubra Valley after breakfast and travel towards the magnificent Pangong Lake through Ladakh’s rugged mountain terrain. On arrival, spend time beside the lake and admire its striking blue waters surrounded by barren mountains. Enjoy the peaceful evening and changing colours of the landscape. Overnight stay near Pangong Lake.
Day 5: Pangong Lake – Leh
Wake up to beautiful morning views of Pangong Lake. After breakfast, begin your return journey to Leh, generally travelling through high mountain roads and passes according to the permitted route and current conditions. On arrival, check in to your hotel. Spend the evening shopping for souvenirs or relaxing at a café. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 6: Leh – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward flight. The journey concludes with unforgettable memories of Leh’s Buddhist heritage, Khardung La’s mountain roads, Nubra Valley’s desert scenery and the breathtaking beauty of Pangong Lake.
