Day 1: Arrival in Orchha – Riverside Heritage
Arrive at Jhansi Railway Station and drive to Orchha. After hotel check-in, begin with a relaxed exploration of the Betwa riverfront. Admire the impressive chhatris of the Bundela rulers and walk through the old lanes of this historic town. Spend the evening enjoying the peaceful setting of Orchha. Overnight stay in Orchha.
Day 2: Orchha Fort & Palace Tour
After breakfast, explore the magnificent Orchha Fort complex. Visit Jahangir Mahal, Raj Mahal and other historic structures featuring grand courtyards, balconies and beautiful architectural details. Later, explore the surrounding heritage quarter and local market. In the evening, you may attend the Light and Sound Show if operational. Overnight stay in Orchha.
Day 3: Orchha Temples – Khajuraho
Begin the morning with darshan at Ram Raja Temple, followed by visits to Chaturbhuj Temple and Lakshmi Narayan Temple. Later, check out and drive towards Khajuraho through the landscapes of Bundelkhand. On arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.
Day 4: Khajuraho – Western Group of Temples
Today is dedicated to the UNESCO-listed Western Group of Temples. Explore architectural masterpieces such as Kandariya Mahadeva Temple, Lakshmana Temple and Vishvanatha Temple, renowned for their elaborate sculptures and Chandela-era craftsmanship. Spend time appreciating the artistry and historical character of the complex. An optional Light and Sound Show can be enjoyed in the evening. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.
Day 5: Eastern & Southern Temples – Raneh Falls
Continue your Khajuraho exploration with the Eastern Group of Temples, including important Jain and Hindu monuments, followed by selected temples of the Southern Group. Later, proceed to Raneh Falls to experience its dramatic canyon and colourful rock formations, subject to seasonal accessibility. Return to Khajuraho and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.
Day 6: Khajuraho – Departure
Enjoy breakfast and check out from the hotel. Depending on your departure schedule, spend some time shopping for handicrafts or visiting a local museum before transferring to Khajuraho Airport or Railway Station. The tour concludes with memorable experiences of Orchha’s Bundela palaces and sacred temples alongside Khajuraho’s extraordinary architectural heritage.
