Day 1: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization
Arrive at Leh Airport and transfer to your hotel. Keep the day relaxed to help your body adjust to Ladakh’s high altitude. Rest, stay hydrated and avoid strenuous activity. If you feel comfortable in the evening, take a gentle walk around Leh Market. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, begin exploring Leh and its surroundings. Visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and selected monasteries, followed by time at the local market. Enjoy panoramic views of the mountains and get a closer look at Ladakh’s Buddhist culture and traditional architecture. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Leh.
Day 3: Leh – Khardung La – Nubra Valley
After breakfast, drive towards Nubra Valley via the spectacular Khardung La Pass. Stop briefly for photographs and mountain views before continuing towards the valley. On arrival, explore Diskit Monastery and later proceed towards Hunder, known for its dramatic sand dunes. An optional double-humped Bactrian camel ride can be enjoyed at your own cost. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 4: Nubra Valley Exploration
Spend the day experiencing the contrasting landscapes of Nubra Valley. Visit scenic villages and enjoy views of the surrounding mountains, rivers and desert terrain. Depending on road conditions and permits, additional nearby attractions can be explored. The evening is free to relax amid the peaceful valley surroundings. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 5: Nubra Valley – Khardung La – Leh
After breakfast, leave Nubra Valley and begin your return journey towards Leh. Travel once again through the spectacular mountain landscapes around Khardung La. On arrival in Leh, check in to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure. You may explore Leh Market for souvenirs, handicrafts and local products. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 6: Leh – Monastery & Indus Valley Tour
After breakfast, enjoy a sightseeing excursion through the Indus Valley. Visit prominent monasteries and cultural attractions around Leh while travelling through beautiful mountain scenery. Spend the afternoon exploring Ladakh’s heritage before returning to Leh. Keep the final evening free for shopping, cafés or relaxation. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 7: Leh – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Leh Airport according to your flight schedule. Depart with memorable experiences of Khardung La’s high mountain roads, Nubra Valley’s unique desert landscapes, Buddhist monasteries and the spectacular scenery of Ladakh.
