Day 1: Arrival in Kochi – Heritage Sightseeing
Arrive at Kochi Airport or Railway Station and transfer to your hotel. Later, explore Fort Kochi with visits to the Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church and selected heritage attractions. Walk through the historic neighbourhoods and browse local shops for spices, handicrafts and souvenirs. Overnight stay in Kochi.
Day 2: Kochi – Munnar
After breakfast, leave for Munnar, travelling through Kerala’s green countryside and the winding roads of the Western Ghats. Stop at Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls if time and conditions permit. Continue past spice plantations and misty hills before reaching Munnar. Check in and enjoy a peaceful evening. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar Sightseeing
Spend the day amid Munnar’s tea-covered landscapes. Visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake and beautiful plantation viewpoints. Depending on operating hours, explore the Tea Museum and learn about the region’s tea-growing heritage. The evening is free to enjoy the cool mountain weather and local market. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 4: Munnar – Thekkady
Travel towards Thekkady after breakfast, passing through scenic spice-growing regions. On arrival, check in and later visit a spice plantation. Optional experiences such as boating, nature activities, a Kathakali show or Kalaripayattu performance can be enjoyed subject to local availability. Spend the evening exploring the spice market. Overnight stay in Thekkady.
Day 5: Thekkady – Kumarakom
After breakfast, descend from the hills and head towards Kumarakom on the banks of Vembanad Lake. Check in to your backwater resort and spend the afternoon enjoying the peaceful waterfront setting. If time permits, visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary or enjoy an optional local boat ride. Overnight stay in Kumarakom.
Day 6: Kumarakom – Alleppey Houseboat
A classic Kerala experience awaits today as you proceed to Alleppey and board a traditional houseboat. Cruise gently through palm-lined canals, paddy fields and waterside villages while watching daily life along the backwaters. Relax on board and enjoy the serene surroundings. Overnight stay on the houseboat in Alleppey.
Day 7: Alleppey – Kovalam
After breakfast, disembark from the houseboat and drive towards Kovalam. On arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Walk along the coastline, relax by the beach and experience the tropical ambience of Kerala’s southern coast. Overnight stay in Kovalam.
Day 8: Kovalam – Thiruvananthapuram – Kovalam
Explore Thiruvananthapuram with visits to selected cultural and historical attractions. Visit the Padmanabhaswamy Temple area, subject to temple entry regulations, along with museums or other city landmarks depending on timings. Later, return to Kovalam and enjoy a relaxed final evening by the Arabian Sea. Overnight stay in Kovalam.
Day 9: Kovalam – Thiruvananthapuram – Departure
