Day 1: Kochi – Munnar
Arrive at Kochi Airport or Railway Station and drive towards Munnar. The journey takes you through green countryside, spice plantations and winding roads of the Western Ghats. Stop at Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls if conditions permit. Reach Munnar, check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening surrounded by misty hills. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 2: Munnar Nature & Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, explore Munnar’s spectacular natural surroundings. Visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake and picturesque tea plantation viewpoints. Depending on operating hours, visit the Tea Museum and learn about the region’s long association with tea cultivation. Spend the evening enjoying the cool mountain atmosphere. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar – Thekkady
Leave Munnar after breakfast and travel towards Thekkady through scenic spice-growing regions. On arrival, check in and relax. Later, visit a spice plantation and explore the local market. Optional experiences such as boating, nature activities, Kathakali or Kalaripayattu performances can be arranged subject to availability and local conditions. Overnight stay in Thekkady.
Day 4: Thekkady – Kumarakom
After breakfast, continue towards Kumarakom, a peaceful backwater destination on the banks of Vembanad Lake. Check in to your resort and spend the afternoon enjoying the tranquil waterfront surroundings. Depending on time, visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary or take a leisurely walk around the local area. Overnight stay in Kumarakom.
Day 5: Kumarakom – Alleppey Houseboat
Enjoy a relaxed morning before proceeding towards Alleppey. Board a traditional Kerala houseboat and begin a memorable cruise through the backwaters. Glide past coconut groves, paddy fields, narrow canals and waterside villages while observing everyday life along the waterways. Enjoy the peaceful ambience of the backwaters. Overnight stay on the houseboat in Alleppey.
Day 6: Alleppey – Kochi
After breakfast, disembark from the houseboat and drive towards Kochi. Explore Fort Kochi with visits to the Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church and selected heritage attractions. Spend some time walking through the historic neighbourhoods and shopping for spices, handicrafts and souvenirs. Overnight stay in Kochi.
Day 7: Kochi – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Depending on your flight or train schedule, enjoy some free time for shopping or additional sightseeing. Later, transfer to Kochi Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, concluding your Kerala holiday with memories of misty hills, spice plantations, wildlife landscapes and serene backwaters.
