Day 1: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization
Arrive at Leh Airport and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day resting so your body can gradually adjust to Ladakh’s high altitude. Stay hydrated and avoid strenuous activity. If you feel comfortable in the evening, take a gentle walk around Leh Market. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2: Leh – Acclimatization & Trek Preparation
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed exploration of Leh with visits to Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and selected nearby attractions. Later, meet your trekking team for a route and safety briefing, equipment check and preparation for the upcoming trail through the Indus Valley region. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 3: Leh – Trek Starting Point – Village Trail
After breakfast, drive to the designated starting point of the trek. Begin walking through the beautiful Indus Valley landscape, passing traditional Ladakhi villages, cultivated fields and barren mountain slopes. The gradual trail offers a fascinating introduction to the region’s rural lifestyle and dramatic scenery. Overnight stay at a village homestay or camp.
Day 4: Indus Valley Trek – Monasteries & Villages
Continue trekking through remote settlements and open mountain terrain. Along the route, experience Ladakhi village life and visit selected monasteries or cultural landmarks depending on the planned trail. Enjoy panoramic views across the valley and surrounding Himalayan ranges before reaching the next overnight stop. Overnight stay at camp or homestay.
Day 5: Final Trek – Return to Leh
After breakfast, begin the final section of the trek through the scenic Indus Valley. Walk across varied terrain while enjoying views of traditional settlements, mountains and the wider valley landscape. On completing the trek, meet your vehicle and drive back to Leh. Spend the evening at leisure or explore Leh Market. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 6: Leh – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey. The tour concludes with memorable experiences of Ladakh’s peaceful villages, Buddhist culture, mountain trails and the spectacular landscapes surrounding the Indus Valley.
