Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati – Kaziranga
Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station and begin your journey towards Kaziranga National Park. Travel through Assam’s countryside, passing green fields, villages and stretches of the Brahmaputra Valley. On arrival, check in to your wildlife resort and spend the evening relaxing amid the peaceful surroundings. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Day 2: Kaziranga National Park Safari
Set out early to explore the wilderness of Kaziranga National Park. Travel through grasslands, wetlands and forest areas while looking for the famous one-horned rhinoceros, wild buffalo, elephants, deer and numerous bird species. A second safari in another permitted zone may be planned later, subject to availability. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Day 3: Kaziranga – Nameri
After breakfast, leave Kaziranga and proceed towards Nameri, a beautiful destination known for forests, rivers and rich birdlife. Check in to your nature camp or resort on arrival. Later, enjoy the tranquil surroundings or take a guided nature walk in an authorised area, depending on local conditions. Overnight stay in Nameri.
Day 4: Nameri Wildlife & Nature Experience
Begin the morning with a guided exploration of the Nameri landscape, an excellent region for birdwatching and nature enthusiasts. Look for colourful birds and other wildlife while walking through permitted forest areas with an authorised guide. Depending on season and operating conditions, optional activities around the Jia Bhoroli River may also be available. Overnight stay in Nameri.
Day 5: Nameri – Guwahati
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Guwahati. On arrival, visit Kamakhya Temple if time permits and later explore the Brahmaputra riverfront. You may also enjoy an optional evening river cruise or shop for Assam tea, handicrafts and traditional products. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
Day 6: Guwahati – Departure
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out. Depending on your flight or train schedule, spend some free time exploring the city before transferring to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station. The journey concludes with memorable experiences of Assam’s forests, wildlife, birdlife and beautiful river landscapes.
