Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati – Local Sightseeing
Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station and transfer to your hotel. After check-in and some relaxation, visit the revered Kamakhya Temple, one of Assam’s most important spiritual landmarks. Later, spend time along the Brahmaputra riverfront and, if available, enjoy an optional sunset cruise on the river. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
Day 2: Guwahati – Kaziranga National Park
After breakfast, leave Guwahati and drive towards Kaziranga National Park. Enjoy views of Assam’s countryside, small settlements and lush green landscapes along the journey. On arrival, check in to your wildlife resort and relax. Spend the evening enjoying the peaceful natural surroundings or opt for a local cultural experience. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Day 3: Kaziranga Wildlife Safari
Begin early with a wildlife safari inside Kaziranga National Park, subject to park operations and permit availability. Explore its grasslands, wetlands and forests while looking for the famous one-horned rhinoceros, elephants, deer, wild buffalo and diverse birdlife. Later, you may explore another permitted zone or nearby attractions. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Day 4: Kaziranga – Guwahati
After breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to Guwahati. En route, enjoy Assam’s scenic countryside and, depending on available time, stop at a local attraction or traditional craft centre. On reaching Guwahati, check in to your hotel. Spend the evening shopping for Assamese handicrafts, tea and traditional products. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
Day 5: Guwahati – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Depending on your departure schedule, enjoy some free time or visit a nearby attraction. Later, transfer to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, concluding your Assam holiday with memories of the Brahmaputra, Kaziranga’s wilderness and Assam’s rich culture.
