Day 1: Arrival in Rishikesh – Trek Preparation
Arrive in Rishikesh and transfer to your hotel. After check-in, spend some time relaxing and exploring the Ganga riverfront. In the evening, attend the beautiful Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat. Later, prepare for the upcoming trekking journey with a basic briefing and equipment check. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.
Day 2: Rishikesh – Chopta
After breakfast, begin the scenic drive towards Chopta through the beautiful Garhwal region. Travel past river valleys, forest-covered hills and traditional mountain settlements. On arrival, check in to your camp or guesthouse and spend the evening enjoying the peaceful Himalayan surroundings. Overnight stay in Chopta.
Day 3: Chopta – Tungnath – Chandrashila Trek
Start early for an exciting trek towards Tungnath. After visiting the temple area, continue towards Chandrashila, subject to trail and weather conditions. From the summit region, enjoy magnificent views of the Himalayan ranges. Later, descend to Chopta and relax after the rewarding trek. Overnight stay in Chopta.
Day 4: Chopta – Deoria Tal
After breakfast, proceed towards the starting point for the Deoria Tal trek. Walk through beautiful forest trails and mountain villages before reaching the serene high-altitude lake. Spend time enjoying reflections of the surrounding Himalayan peaks, photography and the peaceful natural setting. Overnight stay in the Deoria Tal/Sari region.
Day 5: Deoria Tal – Kanakchauri
After breakfast, descend from Deoria Tal and continue by road towards Kanakchauri. Enjoy the changing landscapes of the Garhwal Himalayas along the journey. On arrival, settle into your accommodation and spend the evening relaxing or exploring the peaceful surroundings. Overnight stay near Kanakchauri.
Day 6: Kartik Swami Trek – Rudraprayag
Begin the day with a trek towards Kartik Swami Temple, known for its dramatic ridge-top location and sweeping Himalayan views. After completing the trek, continue by road towards Rudraprayag. Check in to your hotel and enjoy a restful evening after the day’s adventure. Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.
Day 7: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh – Departure
After breakfast, check out and begin the return journey towards Rishikesh. Travel through scenic river valleys and mountain roads before reaching Rishikesh. Continue towards your onward destination, concluding a memorable Uttarakhand trekking journey filled with forest trails, Himalayan viewpoints and mountain experiences.
