Day 1: Arrival in Manali – Acclimatization
Arrive in Manali and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day relaxing and getting accustomed to the mountain environment. In the evening, explore Mall Road, visit local cafés and enjoy the refreshing Himalayan atmosphere. Overnight stay in Manali.
Day 2: Manali – Solang Valley – Trek to Dhundi
After breakfast, drive towards Solang Valley and continue to the trek starting point. Begin your walk towards Dhundi through beautiful mountain surroundings, with views of the Beas River, forests and surrounding peaks. On arrival, settle into the campsite and relax. Overnight camping at Dhundi.
Day 3: Dhundi – Bakarthach
After breakfast, continue trekking towards Bakarthach. The trail gradually opens into beautiful alpine landscapes surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks. Walk through meadows and rugged mountain terrain while enjoying spectacular views along the route. Reach the campsite by afternoon and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight camping at Bakarthach.
Day 4: Bakarthach – Beas Kund – Bakarthach
Begin early for the most exciting section of the trek. Follow the trail towards Beas Kund, a high-altitude glacial lake traditionally regarded as the source of the Beas River. Spend time admiring the dramatic surroundings and magnificent mountain views before trekking back to Bakarthach. Overnight camping at Bakarthach.
Day 5: Bakarthach – Dhundi – Manali
After breakfast, begin your descent towards Dhundi while enjoying the changing Himalayan scenery. From Dhundi, transfer back to Manali. Check in to the hotel and spend the evening relaxing or exploring the local market. Overnight stay in Manali.
Day 6: Manali – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Depending on your departure schedule, enjoy some free time for shopping or local sightseeing. Later, proceed towards your onward destination with wonderful memories of the Beas Kund Trek and the beautiful Himalayas.
