Day 1: Arrival in Manali – Acclimatization
Arrive in Manali and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day relaxing and acclimatizing to the mountain environment. In the evening, explore Mall Road and the local market at your own pace. Overnight stay in Manali.
Day 2: Manali – Local Sightseeing & Trek Preparation
After breakfast, visit Hadimba Devi Temple, Vashisht Temple and other nearby attractions. Later, meet the trekking team for a briefing, equipment check and preparation for the upcoming journey. Overnight stay in Manali.
Day 3: Manali – Batal
After an early breakfast, begin the scenic drive towards Batal through spectacular high-altitude landscapes. Travel across rugged mountain roads with beautiful views of valleys, rivers and barren Himalayan terrain. On arrival, settle into the campsite and rest. Overnight stay at Batal.
Day 4: Batal – Chandratal Trek
After breakfast, begin your trek towards the magnificent Chandratal Lake. Walk through dramatic mountain landscapes before reaching the famous crescent-shaped high-altitude lake. Spend time admiring its striking blue waters and peaceful surroundings. Overnight camping near Chandratal.
Day 5: Chandratal – Exploration & Acclimatization
Wake up amid spectacular Himalayan scenery and spend the day exploring the surroundings of Chandratal. Enjoy short walks around the area, photography and panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. The relaxed day also provides time to acclimatize before continuing the trekking journey. Overnight camping near Chandratal.
Day 6: Chandratal – Tokpo Gongma
After breakfast, leave the Chandratal region and trek through remote Himalayan terrain towards Tokpo Gongma. The route offers changing landscapes, mountain streams and impressive views throughout the day. On arrival, set up camp and relax. Overnight camping at Tokpo Gongma.
Day 7: Tokpo Gongma – Tokpo Yongma
Continue the trek after breakfast towards Tokpo Yongma. Cross rugged trails and streams while enjoying the untouched wilderness of the region. The remote surroundings and dramatic mountain scenery make this section of the trek particularly rewarding. Overnight camping at Tokpo Yongma.
Day 8: Tokpo Yongma – Baralacha La
Begin the day with a challenging trek towards the high-altitude Baralacha La region. Pass through stark Himalayan landscapes and enjoy spectacular views as you approach the mountain pass. After completing the trek, settle into the designated campsite or accommodation. Overnight stay near Baralacha La.
Day 9: Baralacha La – Manali
After breakfast, begin the return journey towards Manali. Drive through dramatic mountain scenery, valleys and high-altitude roads before reaching Manali. Check in to the hotel and spend the evening relaxing after the trekking adventure. Overnight stay in Manali.
Day 10: Manali – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Depending on your departure schedule, enjoy some free time for shopping or a final walk around Manali. Later, proceed towards your onward destination with unforgettable memories of Chandratal Lake and the Himalayan trekking trails.
