Day 01: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu
Arrive at Paro Airport and enjoy a scenic drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s charming capital. Check in at the hotel and spend the evening exploring the local market and surroundings. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 02: Thimphu Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore Thimphu’s major attractions including Buddha Dordenma, Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong and traditional handicraft centres. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and discover Bhutanese culture and architecture. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 03: Thimphu – Punakha
After breakfast, drive towards Punakha via the scenic Dochula Pass, offering beautiful Himalayan views on clear days. Visit Punakha Dzong, beautifully located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Overnight stay in Punakha.
Day 04: Punakha – Paro
Enjoy breakfast and proceed to Paro through picturesque valleys and mountain landscapes. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Later, explore Paro town and visit some of its local attractions. Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 05: Paro – Tiger’s Nest Monastery Excursion
After breakfast, begin the memorable hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang), dramatically positioned on a cliff above the Paro Valley. After the excursion, return to the hotel and enjoy your final evening in Bhutan. Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 06: Paro Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward journey, carrying wonderful memories of Bhutan.
