Day 1: Arrival in Raipur – Jagdalpur
Arrive at Raipur Airport or Railway Station and drive towards Jagdalpur, the gateway to the Bastar region. The journey takes you through rural landscapes and forested stretches of Chhattisgarh. On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. If time permits, explore Jagdalpur’s local market and handicraft shops. Overnight stay in Jagdalpur.
Day 2: Chitrakote Falls – Bastar Heritage
After breakfast, head towards the spectacular Chitrakote Falls, famous for its wide horseshoe-shaped cascade and scenic surroundings. Spend time at the viewpoints before continuing to selected heritage and cultural attractions in the Bastar region. Later, learn about traditional Bastar handicrafts such as bell-metal, wrought-iron and bamboo work. Return to Jagdalpur for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Tirathgarh Falls – Kanger Valley
Today, venture into the natural surroundings of Kanger Valley National Park. Visit the beautiful Tirathgarh Falls, where water descends through multiple rocky levels amid dense greenery. Depending on accessibility and local permissions, explore other designated attractions within the Kanger Valley area. Return to Jagdalpur after a day surrounded by forests and waterfalls. Overnight stay in Jagdalpur.
Day 4: Bastar Culture & Countryside
Spend the day experiencing another side of Bastar through its countryside, traditional crafts and local communities. With locally arranged access, visit selected villages or artisan areas to understand regional lifestyles and craftsmanship respectfully. If a local market is operating, time may also be included to explore regional produce and handmade products. Return to Jagdalpur for your final overnight stay.
Day 5: Jagdalpur – Raipur – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Raipur. Enjoy the countryside scenery along the way before transferring to Raipur Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
