Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai – Heritage & City Tour
Arrive at Mumbai Airport or Railway Station and transfer to your hotel. After check-in, explore some of Mumbai’s iconic landmarks, including the Gateway of India, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus area and Marine Drive. Later, experience the vibrant atmosphere of South Mumbai and enjoy an evening overlooking the Arabian Sea. Overnight stay in Mumbai.
Day 2: Mumbai – Lonavala & Khandala
After breakfast, leave the bustling city behind and drive towards the green hills of Lonavala. On arrival, visit scenic spots such as Tiger Point, Lion’s Point and selected viewpoints around Khandala. Bhushi Dam can also be visited when seasonal conditions and local access permit. Check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening in the hills. Overnight stay in Lonavala.
Day 3: Lonavala – Karla & Bhaja Caves – Pune
Begin the day with an exploration of the ancient Karla and Bhaja Caves, known for their rock-cut Buddhist architecture and historical importance. Later, continue towards Pune and check in to your hotel. In the evening, explore the local surroundings or enjoy some leisure time discovering Pune’s food and shopping scene. Overnight stay in Pune.
Day 4: Pune Heritage Sightseeing
Step into Maharashtra’s Maratha heritage with a visit to Shaniwar Wada, followed by Aga Khan Palace and other prominent attractions around Pune. Depending on available time, visit a museum, heritage site or local market to experience more of the city’s cultural character. Spend your final evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Pune.
Day 5: Pune – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Pune Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. Depending on your travel arrangements, departure can also be planned towards Mumbai. The tour concludes with memorable experiences of Mumbai’s landmarks, Lonavala’s refreshing hills, ancient Buddhist caves and Pune’s rich heritage.
