Day 1: Arrival in Imphal – Heritage & Markets
Arrive at Imphal Airport and transfer to your hotel. Begin your journey with a visit to historic Kangla Fort, followed by Shri Govindajee Temple and other selected city landmarks. Later, explore Ima Keithel, the renowned market traditionally run by women vendors, where you can browse local handloom, handicrafts and regional products. Overnight stay in Imphal.
Day 2: Imphal – Loktak Lake – Moirang
After breakfast, drive towards Moirang and visit the INA Memorial, associated with an important chapter of India’s freedom movement. Continue to Loktak Lake, known for its distinctive floating phumdis and picturesque surroundings. Spend time enjoying the lake views and, when available, take an optional local boat ride. Overnight stay near Loktak Lake or Moirang.
Day 3: Keibul Lamjao – Imphal
Begin the morning with a visit to the Keibul Lamjao National Park area, famous for its floating wetland ecosystem and as a natural habitat of the endangered Sangai deer. After exploring the region, drive back to Imphal. The evening is free for leisure, local cuisine or shopping in the city. Overnight stay in Imphal.
Day 4: Imphal – Andro Village – Cultural Tour
Set out for Andro village to experience another side of Manipur’s cultural heritage.
