Day 1: Arrival in Agartala – Heritage Tour
Arrive at Agartala Airport or Railway Station and transfer to your hotel. Begin your Tripura journey with a visit to the impressive Ujjayanta Palace, followed by selected city attractions. Later, explore local markets where you can find traditional bamboo, cane and handloom products. Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Agartala.
Day 2: Agartala – Sepahijala – Neermahal
After breakfast, head towards Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary to experience its forest surroundings and birdlife. Continue to Rudrasagar Lake and take a boat ride, when operational, to the magnificent Neermahal. Explore the former royal water palace and enjoy the peaceful lakeside scenery before returning to Agartala. Overnight stay in Agartala.
Day 3: Agartala – Udaipur
Leave Agartala after breakfast and travel to Udaipur, known for its temples and tranquil lakes. Visit the revered Tripura Sundari Temple and explore selected attractions around the town. Spend some time beside the lakes and experience the spiritual atmosphere of this important cultural destination. Overnight stay in Udaipur.
Day 4: Udaipur – Pilak – Chabimura
Begin the day with a visit to Pilak, where archaeological remains and sculptures reflect Tripura’s historic Hindu and Buddhist influences. Later, proceed towards the Chabimura region, known for impressive rock carvings along the Gomati River. A boat excursion can be enjoyed when locally operational and conditions are suitable. Overnight stay in Udaipur or nearby.
Day 5: Udaipur – Unakoti
After breakfast, start the journey towards Unakoti, travelling through Tripura’s countryside and small towns. On arrival, explore the spectacular rock-cut sculptures and giant stone reliefs surrounded by forested hills. Spend time appreciating the archaeological and spiritual importance of this unique site. Overnight stay near Unakoti or Kailashahar.
Day 6: Unakoti – Agartala
Enjoy a relaxed morning before beginning the return drive to Agartala. On reaching the capital, check in to your hotel and spend the evening at your own pace. Shop for local handicrafts, explore the markets or enjoy traditional regional cuisine as you complete your final evening in Tripura. Overnight stay in Agartala.
Day 7: Agartala – Departure
